In honor of wishing for a speedy spring, this month is about ushering in some our my kids' favorite green things...leprechauns for Ella, dinosaurs (especially T-Rex) for Ethan, and dragons for both of their fantastical little hearts.

February: Love
We love our children each and every day.
And show it in countless ways.
But here's to celebrating this beautiful virtue...
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

Teaching the Alphabet, b's & d's, and Sight Words

Teaching the ABC's may start with singing the alphabet song, but there's a lot more work after that. After struggling with teaching my daughter the difference between b & d (those are tricky!), and getting ready to teach her sight words, I found the following sites helpful.

December: Christmas
There is so much to do during this time of year, I almost didn't need to go looking for more. Just the same, I did find a couple things that interested me...and perhaps you as well.
Blessings to you and your family,
Genevieve

November: Thanksgiving!

Wondering how this works? Use the compiled list below as a starting point for your own homeschooling or use simply as a list of "fun" activities with your little ones. I will post monthly thematic units as the year continues. Next month's theme is CHRISTMAS.
Enjoy! Genevieve
